01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
Centering on aromatic grilled meats and seafood complemented by bright spices and citrus accents, KASA brings a modern Mediterranean perspective to all-day hotel dining. Set on the second floor of Pullman Tokyo Tamachi, its airy dining room features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and the steady hum of an energetic open kitchen.
Charred Mains and Layered Textures
For a substantial main, the pasture-fed Victorian O'Connor ribeye steak is an immediate standout. Rich, savory lean beef is balanced by smooth mashed potatoes sharpened with Japanese horseradish and grainy Tasmanian mustard, bringing a punchy edge to the robust meat. Fish options demonstrate careful control over temperature and texture, from lightly smoked swordfish finished with a kanzuri chili-paste crust and grapefruit acidity to crispy scale-roasted Chiba kinmedai (splendid alfonsino).
Diverse Starters and Casual Fare
To begin a course or pair with wine, starters such as spicy Cajun prawns with charred avocado and lime coconut sauce, or a rich lamb and pistachio terrine served with brioche, set an engaging tone. The à la carte menu also caters to more relaxed dining, featuring items like the Kasa BLT burger built with a domestic beef patty, alongside the earthy Funghi pizza laced with mushrooms and truffle aroma.
From Morning Service to Drinks on the Terrace
Open continuously from 7:00 early in the morning through late evening, KASA accommodates everything from made-to-order omelets and eggs Benedict at breakfast to leisurely lunch sets and evening cocktails. On pleasant days, the dog-friendly outdoor terrace invites guests to dine in the open air, followed perhaps by a pot of specialty tea such as Irish Whiskey Cream to finish.
